Double degree with Georgetown University

DUAL DEGREE MASTERS PROGRAM

Economists, today, require a demonstrated capacity of professional excellence. Since 1987, Alberto Hurtado University in conjunction with Georgetown University have provided the vehicle to meet that challenge through a double-degree graduate program – the successful completion of which results in both a Masters of Arts in Economics granted by Georgetown University and Magister in Economics granted by Alberto Hurtado University.

The academic talent of our professors intersecting with an intellectually motivating environment reflected in our seminars, conferences and extracurricular activities provide the foundation for a continuous academic interchange with other high-level national and foreign universities. Georgetown also provides the students with complete access to its online catalog of specialized journals.

Our program for post-graduate studies is recognized as one of the most prestigious in Latin America by the National Accreditation Commission (NAC) through its accreditation of the program for 7-years starting in 2008. The accreditation is the highest recognition given by the NAC.
